Robot cars on the loose
In February this year, the robotic cars will once again be buzzing at the BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) RobonAUT competition, of which our company has been a partner and sponsor for years.
As a knowledge-driven company, we believe it is crucial to support the future generation of engineers and to increase their practical know-how. RobonAUT gives students the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge in practice they have acquired at university.
Okay, okay... Many of you know what RobonAUT is. But a little help for those of you who might be new to the subject won’t hurt:
RobonAUT is a robot-building competition for electrical engineering and mechatronics students in the master's programme at BME VIK (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics). The small self-driving model cars (autonomous robots) created for the competition are designed to perform tasks of skill and speed without external control or human intervention. The competition, which is watched by public media and moderated in an entertaining and professional manner, is also attended by senior and junior teams every year. The latter is especially appreciated by the competition, as the newcomers do not have the same level of experience and expertise.
And when and where will all this happen?
The exact date: Saturday, 11th February 2023
Venue: BME VIK, Building Q (Infopark)
The thrilling fun competition can be watched in the Building Q of BME (Infopark) in person, is free for everyone to attend and the public is also welcome to join in with interesting additional activities.
