Kids in the office - A day when the evosoft offices were filled with children's laughter
Ever wondered where do your parents work or what your mother and father do while you’re in the kindergarten or school? We recently held a joint child-parent day at all three evosoft locations.
Within just a few hours, all places for their "Kids in the Office" event were filled, and the waiting list grew long. The aim of the program was to give the children and family members of evosoft employees a fun and engaging insight into the work of an IT specialist. It showcased the kind of environment we have and the professional topics we deal with at our Budapest, Miskolc and Szeged locations.
What could they see? What could they do?
Our young visitors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with LEGO robot models, our robot dog, our electric Babetta, an AI-based complimenting robot, a robot arm, a spider robot and a robot car made in our TinkerLAB. They could delve into IT, visit one of our server rooms, create their own light show with an HMI panel, and try out retro gadgets. Our GoGreen team educated the children about sustainability, and we higlighted the importance of mathematics through engaging logic games. A play corner was set up for the little ones, while relaxation points awaited the adults. Our visitors could also capture their memories with pictures taken in our own photo corner, providing a lasting family memento of the day.
This time we also lent a helping hand: toys for charity
With the support of our evolunteers team, we donated the toys collected for the event to partner organizations that work with children in Miskolc and Szeged. These organizations gratefully accepted the offerings from our colleagues.

The recent event is a grassroots initiative, spearheaded and organized by the Parent Community. This community operates under the auspices of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) program across Budapest, Miskolc and Szeged locations.
At evosoft, we have always prioritized the balance between family, personal life and work. We strive to be a workplace where our colleagues are happy to come to work. The event was a resounding success at all locations, as evidenced by the feedback and our own experiences. It was heartwarming to see families spending quality time together in the workplace. We crafted an informative yet and entertaining program that fostered connections among our colleagues, their family member and evosoft.
We thoroughly enjoyed organizing this program and it appears to have been well worth the effort!
