Congrats guys! ELTE final exam at evosoft
Our collaboration with ELTE (Eötvös Loránd University), which was launched in September 2018, has reached a significant milestone. This summer, we hosted the final examination of the Higher Vocational Education and Training (FOSZK) programme was at evosoft for students who had completed their traineeships with us.
The 4-semester, practice-oriented training programme is supported by evosoft from the beginning. We have been actively involved in the development of the curriculum, teaching three one-semester courses in the first phase, and providing internships for students from the beginning. After three semesters of university education, students spend one semester interning with us.
Every year, more and more people choose evosoft as their internship location, and this year we hosted 15 students from the programme. The vast majority of students stay with us after their internship and continue working full-time at evosoft. In the future, we would like to expand our cooperation with the university. Starting next autumn, we will launch a new course that teaches students the fundamentals of agile software development. This initiative benefits both students and us by providing useful marketable knowledge. Additionally, it offers our TM colleagues an excellent opportunity to get to know the trainees better before the placement, enabling them to make more informed decision during the selection process.
On the final examination, which took place in a positive atmosphere, we conducted a video interview with Imi Horváth and Illés Horpácsi, the coordinators of the ELTE FOSZK training programme. During the interview, we asked them about their perspectives on the training. Additionally, we interviewed the head of the course, Dr Zoltán Illés, associate professor at the ELTE Faculty of Informatics.
