evolution Summit Budapest
Our evolution Summit Budapest event (earlier named Town Hall Meeting) has been running for decades. Our colleagues and external guests give presentations on professional or other lighter topics at the event. Our co-workers almost invariably propose the presentation topics; then, they vote on which talks we should finally include in the conference programme from the list.
Some trivia and facts about the preparation for the talks:
Most of our in-house presenters do not consider themselves professional speakers; they work on our projects as professionals in different positions. This is partly the reason why we put so much emphasis on preparation. The preparation is not only supported by an experienced in-house team but several external experts. We owe a lot to Kinga Győrffy, one of the field experts we regard as the most professional trainer. You can also read reflections on the experience of this joint work in Kinga's book, “Present yourself, the secrets of a captivating talk” as well. The next book, “The escape from the story phobia – tell me a story and convince me” is on the way; it will also contain one or two examples of what happened to us!
If you are interested in the secrets of preparation in-depth, or why it is worth working on your presentation skills from a business point of view, I recommend that you should listen to the podcast episode (in Hungarian) below the video.
You can watch some of the previous presentations here, just look for "evoSummit" under the entry.
