The invulnerables in Munich

EN

In May 2023, two of our colleagues, Bence and Dániel, achieved something unprecedented in evosoft's history. As category winners of the Siemens Cybersecurity Award, the entire team received prestigious professional recognition.

This is how they remember the ceremony:

”This award is a great honour for us! The competition attracted hundreds of projects from several countries, involving thousands of people. It is an amazing feeling that we were not only nominated for the award, but that we were the ones to take home the best of the best award. I don't think I need to tell you how happy we were as developers of the app,” Dániel és Bence recalled.

They have been working on the development of the Vulnerability Tracking System (VTS), which can be used to detect vulnerabilities in an industrial project or system. In a nutshell, they help to keep industrial systems running smoothly.

It is a tool that can find vulnerabilities in programs written by Siemens and their components. Users can monitor the status of vulnerabilities, what is happening in the system, where potential weaknesses may occur.

The award ceremony was held at Siemens HQ in Munich, which Dániel and Bence attended in person.

Other interesting facts about the project can be found on evosoft's LinkedIn page.

We are proud of them and congratulate them on their success!
