Today industrial software development has become a very complex and multi-stage process, in which the coordination of actors and work phases is a highly complex task. It can only be carried out effectively with a high-level IT support accompanying the entire development lifecycle. We call this support process Application Lifecycle Management; the design and operation of the supporting environment are the main activity of our team. Their main elements are version control and data storage on ClearCase, Git, Azure DevOps and Artifactory bases, Jenkins és Kubernetes technologies for continuous integration and software delivery, the SonarQube code analysis application, the TFS-based defect and change request lifecycle management and software build environments, and Sharepoint-based document management platforms. We adapt the operating system to the projects, be it Windows, Solaris, or Linux. When customizing our support systems, we use the world of Perl, PowerShell, Python, MySQL or even C#, .NET, Angular, React as the development environments. Our Tool Development team provides tooling support for our clients’ development projects. Our biggest customers come from the medical, energy and industrial automatization sectors, where large-scale projects now require the development of stand-alone process support applications that meet specific project needs. Activities in the development lifecycle can be automated and efficiently performed with the tools we develop. The most typical areas are build process integration, authorization management and code review. We can achieve significant improvements with our solutions in the areas of automated execution, potential error reduction, process conformity, reproducibility, system performance, providing great efficiency and cost-saving benefits in the implementation of supported projects. In our consultancy work, we support our clients with fully understanding the project’s problems, finding solutions that match the project’s critical points and selecting the most appropriate technology to implement them. We support a diverse range of projects, including Web, Cloud, Data Science and Data Engineering applications, so our colleagues can work on the cutting-edge areas of IT daily.
